Your habits stay yours.

1. Overview

HabitrackerAI ("we", "our", "us") is a free, static habit tracker website at habitrackerai.com. There is no account system, no server database, and no login. This Privacy Policy explains what little data is involved when you use our free habit tracker online, and why your habits stay private by design.

2. Data we do not collect

We do not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share your habit data. We run no analytics on your habits, no advertising SDKs, no cross-site trackers, and no habit-level cookies. Your habits, check-ins, streaks, and notes never leave your device unless you explicitly export them.

3. Data stored locally in your browser

Everything you track is saved only in your browser's localStorage. Clearing your browser's site data deletes it permanently. Keys we use:

• habitrackerai:trackers:v1 — your trackers, habits, check-ins, and settings
• habitrackerai:v1 — legacy single-tracker format (older visits)
• habitrackerai:theme — your light/dark theme preference

Use Export in /app or /my-trackers to download a JSON backup, and Import to restore it on any device. If you clear site data without a backup, your history cannot be recovered — there is no cloud copy.

4. Network requests & third parties

HabitrackerAI is a static site. When you visit a page, your browser requests the page itself plus the Inter font from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com / fonts.gstatic.com). Google may receive standard request metadata such as your IP address and user agent when serving the font, governed by Google's privacy policy. We do not embed analytics, ads, social widgets, or other third-party habit SDKs.

5. Cookies

We do not set cookies for tracking or advertising. Your theme preference and tracker data live in localStorage, not cookies, and are never sent to us.

6. If you contact us

If you email us via the address on our Contact page, we receive whatever you send (your address, message, and attachments). We use it only to reply, and we never sell it or add it to a marketing list. There is no newsletter or account email system.

7. Children

HabitrackerAI is a general-purpose productivity tool with no account and no user-generated public content. It is suitable for students and general audiences. Because all data stays local, there is no child data collection on our side. Parents or schools using shared devices should export a JSON backup before clearing browser data.

8. Security & your control

Local-first means you control your data: use Export for backups, Import to restore, and Delete inside /app or /my-trackers to remove trackers. Anyone with access to your browser profile can see local data, so use device lock on shared computers. We cannot access, recover, or delete your local data for you.

9. Changes to this policy

If we ever change how the site works (for example, adding optional sync or analytics), we will update this page and the Last updated date above. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
